Home Preparation
Access
In order to locate all the air vents, we require access to every room in the home. Please ensure there is enough clearance for our team to work effectively.
Protection
Homeowners are advised to relocate any furniture obstructing vents throughout the house. Alternatively, our team will responsibly handle the movement of items on the day of the job if necessary. In any areas where vents cannot be easily accessed, we will not be able to clean.
Awareness
On the day of the job, please be aware that your heating/cooling system will need to be off while we complete the cleaning process. Please plan accordingly.
Pro-Active
On the scheduled workday, please ensure that all smoke and/or security alarms are deactivated during the sealing process. If your alarm systems are wired, please make sure they are turned off beforehand to avoid any potential delays.
Safety
If there are pets or small children in your residence, please take into consideration that there will be heavy equipment, cords, and plastic tubing placed throughout the home, posing potential hazards. Plan accordingly for their safety.
Precautions First
As a precautionary measure, individuals with chronic respiratory conditions or those who are pregnant are advised to consider leaving during the cleaning process due to dust disturbance.
Day of Cleaning
Preparation
After arriving to your home, our crew will begin prepping for the duct cleaning process. This will include setting up equipment, locating electrical circuits (typically requires the use of extension cords that will be running to/from multiple rooms throughout the house), blocking off all air vents and creating a connection point near the furnace or air handler.
Timely Service
The total job time can range from approximately 2-3 hours, depending on ease of access to the vents in your duct system. In extreme cases, job time can be extended beyond the typical range.
Cleaning
We utilize 'beater brushes' to dislodge compacted and settled dust into the vacuum air stream to be pulled back into our HEPA filtration system for cleaning and offsite disposal..

What to Expect - Air Duct Cleaning Overview

Your appointment is scheduled for the date and time also listed separately in this communication. Our Duct Cleaning Technician will be arriving during this window. Please ensure that someone over the age of 18 will be available to grant access to our technician and that we will have clear access

Service Scope and Fees:
Your service call starts when the technician is dispatched to your home. There will be a Trip Fee of $119. Additionally, there is a diagnostic fee starting at $72 where the technician will perform a comprehensive inspection and diagnosis of your heating system. Diagnostics can vary from system to symptom and can take fifteen minutes up to one hour.
Cleaning Procedures:
During the service, our technicians will use advanced equipment, including high powered vacuums and air whips to dislodge and remove debris from your ductwork. This cleaning will include both the supply and return air ducts.
Safety Protocols:
We prioritize safety throughout the duct cleaning process. Our technicians will take precautions to protect your home and belongings, such as using drop cloths and wearing shoe covers. They will also follow industry best practices to ensure safe handling and disposal of any debris removed from your ducts.
Duration and Disruption:
The duration of the duct cleaning service will depend on factors such as the size of your home and the condition of your duct work. Our team will work efficiently to minimize disruption to your daily routine, and we'll keep you informed of our progress throughout the process.
Cost Estimate and Estimate:
Our duct cleaning service is priced at $599 plus tax. This includes the cleaning of all accessible ductwork and vents in your home. If any additional services or treatments are recommended based on our inspection (ie: dryer vent cleaning or duct repairs), we'll provide you with a cost estimate before proceeding. Payment for duct cleaning services provided is expected at the completion of the appointment. For your convenience we accept, check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and exact cash. Technicians are not able to make change for cash payments.
Customer Involvement:
While our team performs the duct cleaning service, your involvement may be minimal. However, we welcome any questions or concerns you may have about the process. Our technicians will be happy to provide explanations and address any issues promptly.
Post-Cleaning Inspection:
Once the duct cleaning service is complete, our technicians will conduct a thorough inspection to ensure that all ductwork has been properly cleaned. We'll also provide you with recommendations for maintaining clean ducts and improving indoor air quality in the future.
