Homeowners are advised to relocate any furniture obstructing vents throughout the house. Alternatively, our team will responsibly handle the movement of items on the day of the job if necessary.
Awareness
On the day of the job, please be aware that your heating/cooling system will need to be off while we complete the sealing process. Please plan accordingly.

Precautions First
If there are pets or small children in your residence, please take into consideration that there will be heavy equipment, cords, and plastic tubing placed throughout the home, posing potential hazards. Plan accordingly for their safety. As a precautionary measure, individuals with chronic respiratory conditions or those who are pregnant are advised to leave the premises during the sealing process.

Day of Sealing

Preparation
After arriving to your home, our crew will begin prepping for the Aeroseal process. This will include setting up equipment, locating 3 direct electrical circuits (typically requires the use of extension cords that will be running to/from multiple rooms throughout the house), blocking off all air vents and creating an injection point near the furnace or air handler.
Timely Service
The total job time can range from approximately 4-6 hours, depending on ease of access to the vents in your duct system. In extreme cases, job time can be extended beyond the typical range.
Sealing
Prior to initiating the sealing process, our team will conduct a pre-seal test to assess the precise level of leakage in your duct system. Following the completion of the job, a post-seal measurement will be conducted to demonstrate the overall improvement and you will be provided with a “Certificate of Completion” which will include pre and post numbers for your records.
Aeroseal Results
Aeroseal duct sealing is the most effective method of repairing leaky duct systems, with the majority of outcomes showcasing an enhancement of over 90%. Nevertheless, instances may arise where inadequate duct design and/or construction lead to severe duct leakage, necessitating the cutting into drywall to access and rectify the problematic areas.

What to Expect - Air Duct Sealing

Appointment Confirmation
Your appointment is scheduled for the date and time also listed separately in this communication. Our Duct Sealing Technician will be arriving during this window. Please ensure that someone over the age of 18 will be available to grant access to our technician and that we will have clear access to the
HVAC equipment and all rooms of the home where a vent is located.
Sealing Procedures:
During the service, our technicians will use advanced equipment, including a blower fan, injection station, air compressor and power generator. We will need parking access near the garage or an open space of approximately 10 feet in front of the furnace or air handler equipment.
Safety Protocols:
We prioritize safety throughout the process. Our technicians will take precautions to communicate issues or concerns before a sealing starts and will follow industry best practices to ensure the best possible outcomes. If there are items in the home where there would be any concern of the sealant resting on the surface and needing to be cleaned off, those items should be communicated by the homeowner before hand so that we can provide drop cloths or removal during the sealing process.
Duration and Disruption:
The duration of the duct sealing service will depend on factors such as the size of your home and the condition of your duct work. Our team will work efficiently to minimize disruption to your daily routine, and we'll keep you informed of our progress throughout the process.
Cost Estimate and Estimate:
Our standard Aeroseal duct sealing service is priced as low as $2485 plus tax for a ducted supply system and standard, ducted return system. This includes the sealing of all accessible ductwork and vents in your home. If any additional services or treatments are recommended based on our inspection (ie: chase/cavity returns or duct repairs), we'll provide you with a cost estimate before proceeding. Payment for duct sealing services provided is expected at the completion of the appointment. For your convenience we accept, check, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
Customer Involvement:
While our team performs the duct sealing service, your involvement may be minimal. However, we welcome any questions or concerns you may have about the process. Our technicians will be happy to provide explanations and address any issues promptly.
Post-Sealing Inspection:
Once the duct cleaning service is complete, our technicians will conduct a thorough inspection to ensure that all ductwork has been properly sealed. We'll also provide you with recommendations for maintaining clean ducts and improving indoor air quality in the future. We’ll also provide a comprehensive Seal Report that communicates seal percentage rates and valuable homeowner information.
Customer Satisfaction:
Your satisfaction is our top priority. After the duct sealing service, we'll follow up with you to ensure that you're completely satisfied with the results. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we strive to continuously improve our services. If you feel we provided a 5-star service, we kindly ask that you
give a 5-star rating and review us on Google or Facebook.
