installed and efficient HVAC system. Here's what you can expect during your
upcoming HVAC retrofit installation appointment:

Arrival and Preparation

Access

When the installation team is dispatched to your home, you will receive a text alert with the ability to track their journey, turn-by-turn, so that you know when we’re on our way and nearing your residence.

Protection

Upon arrival, our lead technician will introduce the team and provide a quick overview of the installation process. There shouldn’t be any surprises during our appointment. We aim to make the process as smooth and transparent as possible.

Awareness

The technician will start by assessing the designated installation area and the existing HVAC system to ensure it meets the requirements for the new installation. This includes checking the space and ensuring we have at least 10 square feet of clear workspace and a clear path for bringing in and installing the new equipment.

Pro-Active

Our technician will ensure that all work is performed according to local building codes and safety standards. They will take necessary precautions to protect your home during the installation, such as using drop cloths and wearing shoe covers.

Installation

Walk Through

The technician will start by assessing the designated installation area and the existing HVAC system to ensure it meets the requirements for the new installation as well as covering the scope of work as communicated on the work order. We'll also review all equipment being installed during the installation to ensure nothing is overlooked.

Timely Service

The total job time can range from as little as 4 hours to multiple days (8 am - 6 pm), depending on ease of access to the system and work being performed. In extreme cases, job time can be extended beyond the typical start or completing time frame.

Pre Test

Prior to initiating the installation process, the team with run the existing system to test for functionality. They will also cycle the equipment following the installation to ensure functionality at the time of completion.

Installation

The team will begin by removing your old HVAC equipment and preparing the area for the new installation. This includes checking and adjusting any necessary infrastructure to ensure a proper fit and function of your new system. The new HVAC system will be carefully installed, connected to the necessary ductwork, electrical, and gas lines.

Once the installation is complete, the technician will test the new HVAC system to ensure it is functioning correctly. This includes checking thermostat settings, airflow, and overall system performance.

After the installation is complete, our lead technician will provide a detailed demonstration of your new HVAC system. This includes how to operate the system, adjust settings, and perform basic maintenance.

  Bradley is simply the best.  He installed the new motor on our heating unit quickly and proficiently. He is very competent and very knowledgeable.  Truly a pleasure to work with.   Mike from Home Comfort Alliance came today to gather information in aid of providing a quote for replacing my furnace and adding AC through Costco's many services.  He did a thorough inspection, explained all my options and clearly answered all my questions.  Mike was very congenial and knowledgeable--an excellent person to work with.   Sam and Mario did a fantastic job installing our new gas furnace. They demonstrated great customer service and the attention to detail: they put new gas valve, power supply for in-duct purifier, condensing water pump, new filter cabinet + filter that Sam had to step out to shop for, etc. They even upgraded our thermostat's wiring to match the new 2-stage furnace (without hard-defining a timed cutoff on the filter board). I appreciate very much that they did these without us having to ask or monitor, but rather to do a high-quality job (they worked for 6+ hours and took care of everything!). Thank you folks for the great job!
We also a good experience with the initial consultant (Vince) who did a thorough job of estimating our new furnace specs. We found them through Costco (Lennox). Our pricing included the 15% costco cash card; their overall quote was reasonable and competitive as well (lower than some of the other quotes we had). We are very happy with the install and service, and would happily recommend this business.

  We had an urgent/emergent heat pump issue early in the morning causing power surges in our home. Called Home Comfort Alliance prior to business hours and was able to talk to a representative who passed our message along. Got a call back at 7:00 AM and was told a senior technician would be out between 9-12. He arrived by 10:15 AM and diagnosed and repaired the problem within 45 minutes. We’ve used this company before for our heat pump and they’ve always been timely, professional and pleasant to deal with. Highly recommend.

  Josh arrived on time ready to work early in the am.  He educated me on a failing capacitor and was able to switch it out while cleaning up the carbon buildup in the gas furnace. He was great at selling additional services by asking about my hot water heater.  One of those,"I'll get to it someday" tasks of draining the hot water tank to get out mineral and metal at the bottom allowing the tank to work more efficiently and extend the tanks life.  He was able to complete it while here and for a reasonable fee since he was already here.  Good experience all around!  I would highly recommend Josh and Home Comfort Alliance.

  Maintenance person (Anton) was great, very knowledgeable and thorough. For a relatively new unit, the pricing is surprisingly high (not Anton’s fault). The first year checkout was included when the furnace was installed. I prepaid this year (year 2) last year and given the price will pass this upcoming year.

  Today was another 5-star day for Home Comfort Alliance. Brad Johnson, their tech, was a bit early (yay), very professional, and went right to work. He quickly diagnosed the problem, explaining what was wrong and how it could be easily fixed. I appreciate Brad's respectful demeanour and his expertise. Great company, great service, great employees.
