49 Years – Practicing Excellence
This timeline is a historical journey of each company and how we became Home Comfort Alliance.
The beginning – 1977
B&B Heating is founded and within a few short years, they are recognized as the national Residential HVAC Contractor of the Year. The same year, GS Heating & Cooling is founded in Monroe, WA quickly growing to more than 50 team members.
Sullivan Heating & Cooling – 1994
Sullivan Heating opens its doors serving Kitsap and Mason counties and builds a reputation of integrity and quality workmanship. Growing to be the largest new construction installer on the Kitsap Peninsula.
Comfort Mechanical Services – 1999
Comfort Mechanical Services is established, providing commercial HVAC services to the greater Puget Sound area. Providing timely and excellent customer service.
B&B becomes MM Comfort Systems – 2001
Key employees at B&B Heating purchase the residential side of the business and rename the company MM Comfort Systems. A new era of customer-centered residential service begins.
Scribner Electric – 2008
Scribner Electric is established and quickly develops a reputation throughout King and Snohomish counties for professionalism and high-quality workmanship, serving both residential and commercial clients.
Heritage Heating & RiteWay Gas acquired – 2009
MM Comfort Systems acquires Heritage Heating of Tacoma and RiteWay Gas of Auburn and opens a second location in Sumner.A new beginning – 2015
MM Comfort Systems is acquired by local community members with a vision of becoming the most desirable home services contractor in Western Washington…a mission that continues through today.
MM Comfort & GS Heating Join Forces – 2018
MM Comfort Systems and GS Heating, Cooling & Electrical join together, becoming the first two member companies of Home Comfort Alliance with locations in Sumner, Redmond & Everett.
Here we grow again! – 2020
MM Comfort Systems purchases Scribner Electric, providing more electrical services to residential and commercial customers.
Sullivan Heating and Comfort Mechanical become part of the family of brands, adding a commercial division and extending services throughout Washington's peninsula.
Alpine Aire joins the team – 2021
Alpine Aire of Wenatchee is acquired, bringing the promise of comfort to homes east of the mountains.
Full Plumbing Services Added – 2021
MM Comfort System develops a full service & installation plumbing department to better service its customers and round out the whole home services for heating, cooling, electrical & plumbing services.Home Comfort Alliance is launched – 2022
A rebranding initiative introduces Home Comfort Alliance to represent the joining together of all our companies delivering the comforts of home.Our Promise of Comfort – 2025 & Beyond
