Revolutionize Your Home's Efficiency
with Aeroseal
Enhance your home's comfort and energy efficiency with professional Aeroseal duct sealing by Home Comfort Alliance. Discover how our innovative technology can reduce utility bills, improve air quality, and extend the life of your HVAC system.
Air sealing is the practice of minimizing or preventing unintended airflow within a building—specifically, the infiltration of outdoor air into interior spaces and the escape of conditioned indoor air to the outside. Unfortunately, the significance of air sealing is frequently underestimated. However, when executed effectively, it can offer numerous benefits to both building occupants and owners, reduce energy costs, and facilitate the use of more sustainable heating and cooling technologies.
Aeroseal Duct: How It Works
Aeroseal Duct is designed to be applied on the ventilation and ductwork used in both commercial and residential HVAC systems. The process starts by blocking all registers and intakes to pressurize the HVAC system. Then, our automated system distributes sealant into the interior ductwork, where particles remain suspended until they encounter an air gap. Then, particles bond around the edges of the leak and accumulate sealant until the entire hole is sealed shut. Airflow and leakage rates are measured throughout the step-by-step process.
Step 1: Preparation & Setup
All supply and return registers have been taped over to prevent air from flowing through them, and the furnace and coils have been disconnected from the duct system to isolate them.
Step 2: Seal & Monitor
The equipment connects to the duct system either through an inlet hole or directly through a register. It then automatically sprays sealant through the pressurized ductwork, exclusively filling cracks and holes.
Step 3: Receive Certified Results
After completing the tasks, ensure that all equipment is properly disconnected. Any inlets should be securely patched to prevent any unwanted access. Finally, it is important to create a Seal Certificate in order to verify the results of the process.
Seal the Leaks, Secure Your Home’s Comfort with Aeroseal
Leaky ducts can waste up to 30% of your home’s heating and cooling energy, driving up your utility bills and compromising indoor air quality. At Home Comfort Alliance, we offer Aeroseal—a groundbreaking solution that seals leaks from the inside out, delivering immediate and lasting results.
Aeroseal is a revolutionary technology that effectively seals leaks in your ductwork, reducing energy waste and resulting in significant savings on heating and cooling costs. It improves HVAC system efficiency, providing a more comfortable home & saving on energy bills.
Healthier Indoor Air
By sealing leaks, Aeroseal creates a healthier indoor environment by preventing dust, allergens, and pollutants from entering your ducts. It also promotes a more even distribution of conditioned air, eliminating hot and cold spots and enhancing the overall indoor environment.
Maximize Efficiency
Properly sealing air is crucial for HVAC efficiency. Well-sealed ductwork ensures proper distribution of conditioned air, reducing fan runtime, cutting utility costs, & extending HVAC lifespan. Conversely, inadequate sealing can significantly decrease heat pump efficiency.
Regulatory Compliance
Building construction and retrofits must meet strict air tightness or ventilation standards to comply with regulations and obtain a certificate of occupancy (CO). Air sealing is essential for achieving compliance.

The Aeroseal process is designed to effectively seal duct leaks from the inside out, ensuring maximum energy efficiency. This innovative method involves using a non-toxic sealant that is distributed throughout the ductwork, where it adheres to the leaks and hardens, creating a permanent seal.
Before application, our technicians prepare the system by isolating the ductwork and sealing off the vents. This preparation is crucial for the effectiveness of the Aeroseal process, as it allows for a concentrated application of the sealant. The result is a significant reduction in air leakage, enhancing your home's comfort and energy savings.
Benefits of Aeroseal for Homeowners
Homeowners can experience numerous benefits from Aeroseal duct sealing, including lower energy bills and improved indoor air quality. By sealing leaks, Aeroseal prevents conditioned air from escaping, allowing your HVAC system to work more efficiently and reducing energy consumption.
Additionally, a well-sealed duct system minimizes the entry of dust, allergens, and pollutants, contributing to a healthier living environment. This is particularly beneficial for families with allergies or respiratory issues, as it ensures cleaner air circulation throughout the home.
