Backup power for peninsula homes
Trees, wind off the water and long overhead lines mean outages are part of life on parts of the peninsula. When the power goes, so can your heat, well pump, sump pump and refrigerator. Options:
- Standby generator with an automatic transfer switch, sized for the whole home or for essential circuits. It starts on its own within seconds of an outage.
- Generator inlet and interlock so a portable generator can safely run selected circuits through the panel.

Salt air and outdoor equipment
Homes on or near the water face salt-laden air that corrodes exposed metal faster than inland. Outdoor panels, meter bases, disconnects for heat pumps, exterior outlets and light fixtures deserve a look if they are showing rust, sticking covers or tripping GFCIs. We replace corroded equipment with weather-rated enclosures, use in-use covers on outdoor outlets, and seal penetrations so wind-driven rain stays out.
