- Military moves and rentals. With Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor just up the road, some Silverdale homes are bought, sold or rented around military moves. A pre-sale or move-in check of the furnace, water heater and electrical panel helps buyers, sellers and landlords avoid surprises.
